The goal of Developmental Wings is to provide customized educational, developmental, and advocacy programs for people with autism and developmental disabilities in under-served populations in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. We endeavor to raise funds to provide much needed services at little to no cost to all those in need.


Thanks to the generosity of our many volunteers, sponsors, and donors we are providing the following services:

• Developmental Horseback Riding - riding and horsemanship lessons are held Tuesday night at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds building. Lessons are provided throughout the fall and spring. Check out the video below to see our riders in action.

• Music and Art Therapy - classes are designed to engage children and encourage creativity. Classes are provided in Alma and Muldrow on a rotational basis Thursday evenings.

• Wing Cadets - offers special needs children an opportunity to experience a group-based approach to learning new skills and sports. We focus on abilities, not disabilities, and provide accommodations for everyone to participate.
